Hello.

 

Hey there, I'm Marcos Elias, currently calling Rio de Janeiro home sweet home.

My journey into the fascinating world of animation began with my studies at the Brazilian online animation school, Onfire.com.br. Later on, I dove deep into the art by completing the creature course at iAnimate.net. During this time, I had the incredible privilege of being mentored by animation luminaries such as Johnny Spinelli and Brendan Body. To add a cherry on top, I also attended the Intensive week at Animation Collaborative, soaking up insights from the talented Michal Makarewicz.

 

With about 8 years of experience as an animator under my belt, I've had the pleasure of contributing to a diverse array of projects—from TV shows, feature films, and short films to advertising endeavors. Notably, some of these projects found their way to the Disney channel, and my stint at Samsung was a game-changer. There, I delved into the realm of VR and AR applications, crafting animations that included the cool AR Emoji for Galaxy phones.
